This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a vertically integrated operation while driving safety, quality, efficiency, and scalability across the organization. You'll lead a diverse team, implement operational best practices, and help create the infrastructure needed to support long‑term growth and customer success.

  • Provide executive leadership across production, packaging, warehousing, distribution, facilities, maintenance, and supply chain operations
  • Build scalable systems and high‑performing teams to support aggressive growth objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase throughput, improve quality, and reduce operational waste
  • Partner closely with Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, R&D, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment and execution
  • Earn competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits including a salary range of $220,000-$260,000, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and executive‑level growth opportunities

This is a full‑time, on‑site leadership role based in Middlesex, New Jersey. Candidates must reside within a 45‑minute commute. Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is preferred.

Your Qualification:

If this opportunity excites you and you possess the following qualifications, we'd love to hear from you:

  • 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Food Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Significant leadership experience within dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, food, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of dietary supplement cGMP requirements and FDA regulations
  • Proven success leading large‑scale manufacturing operations and cross‑functional teams
  • Demonstrated track record of improving operational performance and delivering measurable business results
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and strategic planning skills

Preferred, but Not Required:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing or multi‑customer production environments.
  • Experience leading facility expansions, automation projects, or major capital initiatives.
  • Knowledge of NSF GMP, HACCP, and audit readiness programs.
  • Experience managing large bilingual workforces.

Reporting to executive leadership, the Vice President of Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership across all manufacturing and supply chain functions. This executive will be responsible for driving performance, building scalable systems, strengthening compliance programs, and ensuring operational readiness to support continued business growth.

  • Lead all manufacturing operations including blending, encapsulation, compression, coating, packaging, labeling, warehousing, and distribution
  • Develop and execute operational strategies that improve capacity, throughput, labor productivity, schedule attainment, and overall equipment effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with dietary supplement cGMP standards, FDA requirements, documentation controls, and quality systems
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators across safety, quality, service, cost, labor efficiency, waste reduction, and equipment performance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, visual management, and structured problem‑solving methodologies
  • Build, develop, and coach high‑performing leadership teams across manufacturing and support functions
  • Oversee facilities, maintenance, capital projects, equipment reliability, and capacity planning initiatives
  • Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Engineering, Customer Service, and Commercial teams to align operational priorities with business objectives
  • Lead audit preparation, customer visits, regulatory inspections, and corrective action initiativesManage operational budgets and identify opportunities to improve profitability through improved process discipline and resource utilization
  • Foster an engaged, accountable culture focused on safety, quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
