I'm currently partnering with a leading aerospace and space technology company to appoint an exceptional Vice President of Software Engineering .

This is a high-impact executive leadership opportunity to build and scale a world-class software engineering organisation developing the next generation of aerospace technologies. You'll lead engineering strategy, drive technical excellence, and oversee the delivery of highly reliable, mission-critical software across advanced aerospace platforms.

The role will suit a hands-on engineering executive who enjoys building exceptional teams, mentoring senior engineering leaders, influencing architecture and product strategy, and creating an engineering culture capable of delivering at the highest level.

What we're looking for:

• 15+ years of software engineering experience
• 8+ years leading large, high-performing engineering organisations
• Experience as a VP Software Engineering, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, Senior Director of Engineering, or CTO
• Proven success scaling engineering teams and delivering complex software products from concept through deployment
• Strong technical background with experience influencing software architecture, engineering strategy and organisational growth
