Vice President of Operations, Physicians Enterprise
StartDate: ASAP; Pay Rate: $200,000 - $230,000.
Responsibilities
- Provide enterprise-wide operational leadership across the Physician Enterprise, overseeing multi-site ambulatory operations and ensuring consistent execution of the organizational operating model.
- Report to the SVP of Physician Enterprise and serve as the primary execution partner, translating strategic priorities into operational plans, performance expectations, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive standardization across clinics and regions to reduce operational variation and improve access, patient flow, quality, and patient experience outcomes.
- Establish and maintain a disciplined operating cadence supported by performance dashboards, accountability structures, and timely issue escalation and resolution.
- Lead initiatives to improve financial and operational performance, including productivity optimization, cost-to-serve reduction, and minimization of avoidable rework and denials.
- Oversee execution of enterprise growth and transformation initiatives, including provider onboarding, practice integrations, expansions, and workflow or EHR changes.
- Partner closely with physician leaders, clinical teams, and enabling services to ensure alignment, collaboration, and effective execution of system-wide priorities.
- Develop and strengthen System Operations Directors and practice management leaders to build long-term leadership capacity and operational excellence across the enterprise.
- Provide executive-level communication, synthesis, and decision support, ensuring timely escalation of risks, barriers, and performance gaps to senior leadership.
- Execute as a strategic, execution-focused healthcare operations executive with deep experience leading large, multi-site ambulatory or physician enterprise systems.
- Operate as a senior delegate to executive leadership, building operating discipline, leading large-scale transformation, and aligning physicians, administrators, and cross-functional stakeholders around shared performance goals.
Requirements
- Master’s degree is required.
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive healthcare leadership, specifically multi-site experience, is required.
- Acquisition experience is strongly preferred.
Compensation Details
- The base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $230,000 annually, with additional benefits including health insurance, retirement benefits, and bonuses. Total compensation will be determined based on scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.
