The Vice President of Operations is responsible for leading and managing all operational
functions across Performance Equine Veterinary Services' locations, serving as the
primary operational authority and strategic partner to the founder in running a
high-performing, multi-location equine veterinary and rehabilitation practice. This is a

OBJECTIVES
- -Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations across PEVS and EPIC locations, ensuring each site operates efficiently, upholds quality standards, and delivers a consistent and exceptional experience for clients and patients
- -Own full P&L accountability for all operational functions, monitoring financial performance across locations, identifying variances from plan, and driving corrective actions to protect and grow overall profitability
- -Develop, document, and enforce standardized operational processes, standard operating procedures, and quality controls that can be consistently applied across all current and future locations as the organization scales
- - Build and lead a high-performing team across all sites, taking direct responsibility for recruiting, onboarding, developing, and retaining staff who reflect PEVS's culture, values, and commitment to excellence

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- -Minimum 7 to 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience with demonstrated success managing multi-site or multi-location organizations
- -Proven track record of full P&L ownership with measurable results in revenue growth, cost management, and operational efficiency improvement
- -Experience in veterinary practice management, equine industry operations, animal health, or a related healthcare or clinical services environment is strongly preferred
- -Demonstrated ability to build organizational infrastructure, develop teams, and scale operations through periods of rapid growth
- -Strong financial literacy with experience developing and managing operational budgets, producing accurate forecasts, and presenting performance data to ownership
