Apply today and be part of our growth!Job DescriptionThe Vice President of Human Resources provides executive-level leadership and strategic direction for Rally House’s people strategy and HR operations. This role partners closely with executive leadership to ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains the talent required to support a rapidly growing multi-unit retail organization.The Vice President is responsible for establishing and executing legally compliant HR policies, procedures, and best practices while building scalable people systems that support both corporate teams and a growing store network. This leader plays a critical role in aligning talent strategy with business objectives, strengthening leadership capability, and protecting the culture that makes Rally House unique.ResponsibilitiesEnterprise People StrategyPartner with executive leadership to align the organization’s people strategy with long-term business goals and growth plansEstablish key performance indicators for HR and talent management functions and assess organizational performance against those metricsDevelop scalable talent strategies that support store expansion, leadership development, and internal mobilityBuild leadership pipelines through succession planning and strategic talent acquisition initiativesOrganizational Effectiveness & Workforce PlanningLead organizational design and workforce planning initiatives that support business growth and operational scalabilityPartner with executive leaders to strengthen leadership capability and team effectiveness across both corporate and field organizationsLead change management initiatives during periods of growth, expansion, and organizational transformationEnsure leadership standards and expectations remain consistent across departments and markets while supporting operational needsEmployee Relations & Culture StewardshipPromote and strengthen Rally House’s culture while supporting both corporate teams and the store networkProvide guidance on complex employee relations matters and ensure consistent application of company policiesEnsure compliance with employment laws, benefits regulations, safety standards, and HR best practicesProvide leadership and support to the HR team in addressing employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretationHR Operations & Total RewardsOversee HR operational functions including payroll, compensation, benefits, HR systems, and compliance programsDesign and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance management, and incentive programsManage the HR department budget and support workforce planning initiativesDrive continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, and service delivery to support a growing organizationSkills and KnowledgeKnowledge of human resources laws, regulations, and best practices, Leadership and team development skills with a focus on building high-performing teams and leadership pipelines, Organizational awareness and the ability to navigate complex, multi-level organizations, Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business goals into effective people strategies, Strong business acumen and understanding of how human resources supports organizational performance, Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills across executive and operational leadership, Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skillsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred; Master’s degree or MBA a plus12–15+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including senior leadership responsibility within a multi-unit or consumer-facing organizationDemonstrated experience partnering closely with retail operations and field leadership in a multi-location environmentProven track record developing scalable HR strategies, leadership pipelines, and talent development programs in a growing organizationProfessional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipmentAble to clearly view and read information on a computer screenOccasionally lift or move items up to 15 poundsLocationOn-site in Lenexa, KSPay Range$210,000.00 - $260,000.00
