We are a growing commercial company based in Las Vegas, NV, seeking an experienced VP of Operations to lead day-to-day operations, drive efficiency, and support continued growth across our commercial business lines.
Position Summary
The VP of Operations will oversee operational strategy, execution, and performance across the organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership, department heads, and field/office teams to ensure operational excellence, financial performance, and consistent delivery of company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee daily operations across departments to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices
- Partner with executive leadership to set and execute strategic goals
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and operational P&L performance
- Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and staff
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics; drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations
- Oversee vendor, supplier, and subcontractor relationships as applicable
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and risks
- Support business development and client relationship efforts as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (MBA a plus)
- 7+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, ideally in a commercial environment
- Proven track record managing multi-department or multi-site operations
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and P&L management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with operations, project management, or ERP softwareAbility to travel locally between sites/offices as needed
