Vice President, Investor Relations, Corporate & Scientific Communications

I'm supporting a clinical-stage biotech on a confidential search for a senior leader across Investor Relations, Corporate Communications and Scientific Communications.

This is an unusually science-heavy mandate.

The successful individual will work closely with the executive team and R&D leadership to understand complex scientific and clinical data, help shape the company's external narrative, and communicate that story credibly to investors, analysts and other stakeholders.

The profile:

• Significant biotech Investor Relations experience
• Strong Corporate Communications capability
• Exceptional scientific fluency, which is the key differentiator
• Able to engage independently with highly technical investors and analysts
• Experience translating complex scientific and clinical data into clear, compelling messaging
• Comfortable owning investor presentations, earnings preparation, conferences and 1:1 investor interactions
• Hands-on operator who is comfortable personally developing materials and messaging
• Scientific training strongly preferred, with a PhD advantageous but not essential
