Vice President, Infrastructure Opportunities

Ares Infrastructure Opportunities (AIO), the equity-oriented infrastructure investment group of Ares Management, is hiring a Vice President to join its Investment Team in New York. AIO invests across value-add and core infrastructure strategies, targeting renewable energy, energy storage, natural gas midstream, transportation, resource efficiency, low-carbon molecules, infrastructure services, and digital infrastructure. The platform manages approximately $8.5bn across two strategies and three main funds, supported by roughly 30 investment professionals.

The Vice President will be an integral part of the New York investment team, responsible for originating, structuring, and executing new investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading due diligence and deal structuring.
• Preparing internal evaluation and financial modeling materials.
• Interfacing with portfolio company management teams and third-party advisors.
• Monitoring the operational and financial performance of existing investments.
• Mentoring junior team members.

Ares is looking for candidates with 6+ years of experience in private equity, project finance, investment banking, development, or the power/energy/infrastructure sectors, strong financial modeling skills in Excel, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range is $210,000-$225,000 plus a discretionary performance bonus. Comprehensive benefits package includes medical/dental/vision coverage, a 401(k) match, and wellness programs.
