What You'll Do in the Role

As a Human Resources Strat/Engineer, you will design, build, and own the tools and data‑driven solutions that power HR decision‑making across your assigned functional area. You will combine deep technical capability with strategic thinking – using data engineering, automation, and modern tooling to reshape how workforce and operational data are modeled, visualized, and consumed by senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build data models, applications, and automated workflows that support critical HR and business decisions.
  • Lead core HR process cycles (e.g., compensation, workforce planning, talent reviews), providing end‑to‑end technical and analytical support across planning, execution, and governance.
  • Own workforce analytics, modeling, and competitive benchmarking across assigned HR domains.
  • Build and maintain automated reporting and data workflows, ensuring both security and recovery mechanisms.
  • Partner with senior business leadership on workforce planning, hiring strategy, and resource allocation – translating business questions into data‑driven answers.
  • Evaluate and deploy emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, AI agents, workflow automation) to enhance HR’s analytical and operational capabilities.

Day‑to‑Day Focus

  • Engineer and maintain scalable data solutions that underpin HR reporting and analytics.
  • Build and iterate on visualization tools for headcount, workforce expense, hiring, attrition, and other key HR metrics.
  • Deliver self‑service analytics reporting to business unit stakeholders on hires, terms, incumbents, workforce events, and other operational data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through better tooling, automation, and smarter use of available technology and data.
  • Stay current on cloud platforms, data engineering practices, and AI/ML capabilities relevant to HR.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or another quantitative discipline.
  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Proficient in Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with automation or workflow platforms (e.g., Power Platform, UiPath) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, controls, and model validation.
  • Strong communicator who can explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating across HR domains and partnering with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
