Vice President/Group Director Of Media StrategyWe're searching for a Vice President/Group Director of Media Strategy who's an expert in pioneering media solutions, takes ownership for leadership within the Media group and acts on a sense of creative collaboration. You'll oversee the development of strategy and Media for clients, leading 1-2 brands on a larger retail portfolio client.Responsibilities include:Contribute to a core team responsible for strategic initiativesArticulate departmental and customer segmentation and Media tacticsOversee development of program strategies across different teamsAssume a huge role on core client teams and new business opportunitiesMaintain senior level relationship with publishersEngage in public relations within the Media fieldRepresent the agency within industry organizationsSupport relevant training sessionsEstablish long-term trust with clientsQualifications include:Four year degree (Master's degree preferred)10-14 years of Advertising and Marketing industry experience3 years of staff management and team leadershipExpertise in the digital worldThorough knowledge and expertise in different types of MediaProven leadership ability and previous client relationship experienceExemplary verbal and written communication skillsTime management and problem solving skillsProficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MRI, and CMRTrack record of successful problem-solving skillsSuperior interpersonal and presentation skillsCandidate must be open to travel as neededFamiliarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generationPrior experience managing annual budgets of $50M+Cross-channel (needs to include traditional channels) media planning experience at the National levelsUnderstanding of PESOGot the sparkle?
