Vice President (GP Stakes)

Overview

We are partnering with a global private equity platform seeking to hire a Vice President to join its GP Stakes investment strategy in the United States.

The firm has evolved into a GP solutions provider and institutional investor, with existing strategies spanning growth equity, private equity, co‑investments, and fund of funds. The group is now seeking a Vice President to spearhead execution of GP stakes transactions.

Leveraging over two decades of deep relationships with U.S. GPs, the team is exceptionally well positioned to invest in minority stakes and strengthen partnerships across the private markets ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of GP stakes investments, from diligence through to close.
• Oversee valuation, structuring, and transaction documentation alongside senior leadership.
• Support origination and portfolio management across existing partnerships.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued build‑out of the U.S. platform.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in investment banking or private equity, with prior transaction exposure to GP Stakes.
• Strong technical and execution background, with direct deal experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a lean, collaborative environment.
