Vice President - Global Asset Servicing

Whitecap Search is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate and manage global asset servicing functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in investment operations and a strong background in alternative credit or insurance asset management.

Job Function

• Coordinate daily reconciliation of security masters, positions, and cash with the Alternative Investment Solutions team.
• Identify and resolve data breaks or discrepancies in trades, holdings, and security master information.
• Support portfolio and risk management data needs by collaborating with investment operations and portfolio managers.
• Manage LP investments, subscription documents, and ad-hoc client data requests.
• Assist with onboarding new clients and elevate critical data issues to ensure accurate reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field from an accredited university.
• 6 years of experience with reputable investment management firms, preferably in Alternative Credit or Insurance Asset Management.
• Experience in Investment Operations, including middle office, back office, or treasury functions.
• Familiarity with data management platforms such as Black Mountain (Allvue), Everest, Geneva, and/or IVP is a plus.
• Knowledge of various investment vehicles, including Institutional Separate Accounts, SMA/Limited Partnerships, Closed-End Funds, UCITs, CLOs, and complex fund structures.
