This role is located in New York.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Lead the design and development of full-stack applications utilizing industry best practices and cutting-edge technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features that enhance user experience and system performanceConduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers to foster continuous learning and improvementEnsure high-quality and performant code through comprehensive testing and debugging processesTo be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Typically, 5–9 years of hands-on experience in software development required with WebLogic Portal and J2EE technologiesProficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, demonstrating expertise across front-end and back-end technologiesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategicallyExperienced in 3-tier, n-tier, cloud computing, microservices architecture.Must have hands-on experience with Angular, NgRx, RxJS and micro-frontend3+ years of Hands-on experience designing and developing microservices using Java/Spring Boot, Node.jsMust have hands-on experience with AI assisted application development and integration using AI tools like Windsurf IDE or similar agentic IDEs3+ years of relevant experience with API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, GraphQL, and SwaggerMust have hands on experience in writing RESTful webservices using Spring/JAX-RS.Experience development using agile methodology using CI/CD pipelineDevelop and build microservices leveraging AWS Cloud ServicesMust have Spring Portlet development experienceMust have good working knowledge of HTML, Ajax, JQuery, Java Script.Must have working experience with SVN/GIT or with other equivalent source control systems.Must have experience with Oracle RDBMS.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $83,000 and $170,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
