Vice President - Full Stack EngineerWe are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Angular, AngularJS, and Java to join our dynamic team supporting Internal Communications. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to lead and mentor other developers effectively. In this role, you will work closely with the Internal Communications team on a transformative project that incorporates AI and other advanced capabilities.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Lead the architecture, design, develop, and maintain web applications utilizing Angular, AngularJS, Spring Boot, Oracle, and core Java technologiesUtilize best practices in software development, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality standardsMaintain high code quality thorough code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practicesEngage in cross-functional collaboration to align technology solutions with business objectives and client needsEvaluate and integrate front-end technologies, with Angular experience considered advantageousChampion the use of enterprise tools and AI-driven automation to optimize engineering processes and platform operationsMentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellenceCollaborate with product owners, design leads, stakeholders, and engineering teams to enhance user experience and deliver new features on time and with high qualityIdentify, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and scalability issuesTo be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience requiredExperience with front-end frameworks, preferably Angular, AngularJS, and Java developmentSolid knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologiesDemonstrated leadership experience in managing and mentoring development teamsFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, version control systems, and agile development methodologies is advantageousDeep understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and DevOps practicesExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholdersExperience in internal communication or related marketing and communication industriesKnowledge of automation tools and AI-assisted development practicesBNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $203,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
