NOW HIRING: Vice President of Finance

Greater Phoenix, AZ | Reports to the CFO

Our client is a well-established, mission-driven nonprofit Senior Living organization seeking a senior finance leader who wants to make a real impact.

This is a highly visible role. You'll lead the full accounting and finance functions, advise the CFO and senior leadership, and present financial results to board committees.

What you'll lead:

- The month-, quarter-, and year-end close, making sure financial statements are accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant

- Consolidated financial statements and bond reporting for an Obligated Group and affiliated organizations, including intercompany eliminations

- Accounting team leaders overseeing payroll, AP, AR/billing and related functions

- Internal controls, financial policies and process improvements

- Audit coordination and federal/state regulatory reporting

- Tax compliance with external auditors (Forms 990/990-T, 1120, state, sales and property tax)

- Financial analysis and reporting that supports budgeting and operational decisions

What you bring:

- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance. CPA strongly preferred (or MBA)

- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management

- Public accounting/audit background plus in-house leadership, ideally in a growing organization

- Nonprofit and multi-site experience

- Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills

- Microsoft Dynamics GP and Kronos experience preferred

- A leader who mentors, builds high-performing teams, and drives change
