Vice President Finance

Strategic Talent Partners is conducting a search for a senior Finance & Accounting leader on behalf of an established organization in Texas.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day finance and accounting operations while partnering with senior leadership on financial strategy, planning, analysis, and organizational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team
• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and the financial close process
• Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Partner with leadership on financial planning, analysis, and strategic initiatives
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support organizational decision-making
• Oversee audit, compliance, cash management, and other key financial activities
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, reporting, and overall efficiency
• Lead technology and automation initiatives within the finance function
• Build strong partnerships across the organization and communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Ideal Background

• 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong accounting, financial reporting, analysis, and internal controls experience
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams
• Ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day financial operations
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience improving financial processes and leveraging technology
• CPA and/or MBA is a plus
