- We are partnering with a private equity-backed infrastructure services platform with approximately $100M in revenue and operations across multiple regions. The company provides mission-critical construction, engineering, and maintenance services across essential infrastructure sectors.
- The business is in a growth and integration phase, with multiple operating entities and a strong focus on building scalable systems, processes, and financial infrastructure.
The Opportunity
- This is a #2 to the CFO role designed for a high-caliber, analytical finance professional who wants to operate at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution.
- This is not a traditional FP&A role — there is currently limited formal budgeting/forecasting infrastructure, so this individual will help build processes from the ground up while supporting ad hoc, high-impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Partnership
- Act as a strategic right hand to the CFO/COO
- Support execution of company-wide strategic initiatives
- Prepare board materials, executive presentations, and ad hoc analyses
- Serve as a cross-functional liaison across finance, operations, and leadership
Special Projects & Strategy
- Lead high-impact, ad hoc projects across the organization
- Support system implementations and process buildouts
- Develop KPIs and performance tracking across operating divisions
- Drive data analytics and reporting enhancements
Process Improvement & Buildout
- Design and implement budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
- Automate manual workflows and improve reporting accuracy
- Assist in developing internal policies and procedures
M&A & Integration
- Support due diligence and financial analysis for acquisitions
- Assist with integration of acquired businessesDrive back-office centralization and standardization efforts
- Analyze operational and financial synergies
Ideal Candidate Profile
3–6 years of experience in:
- Investment Banking (1st or 2nd year Associate preferred), or
- Transaction Advisory / QoE (Senior / Manager), or
- Corporate finance within a PE-backed environment
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous, build-from-scratch environment
- Highly proactive, intellectually curious, and execution-oriented
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact with senior leadership
- No prior industry experience required
