Vice President Finance

EB Executive Search Group is conducting an exclusive search for a newly created VP Finance role for a company located in the East TN/Knoxville area.

WHAT ARE WE SEEKING?

• BS-Accounting/Finance from an accredited university
• CPA (active or inactive) and/or MBA
• 15+ years progressive levels of leadership & broad responsibility in finance/accounting career
• Big 4 Audit + private industry desired; CPG industry a plus
• Strategic & growth mindset with ability to influence & mentor others as a key leader in the company
• Desire to advance in career to CFO level

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THE ROLE:

• Lead & direct three main areas for the company: Accounting/Internal Audit , Finance/FP&A , & Revenue Growth Management
• Collaborate with department heads of cross-functional teams such as: Sales, Marketing, Operations, Manufacturing/Logistics, HR, etc. & participate in a group setting to make decisions for the company
• Develop and execute financial strategies to drive growth and profitability.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to optimize resource allocation.
• Review M&A deals for potential growth through acquisitions
• Act as true finance business partner
