Vice President, Finance | North America | Irish-Headquartered Global Business

A fast-growing, Irish-headquartered international business, with the majority of its global revenue generated from its North American operation, is seeking an exceptional finance leader to head its NA financial function from its greater Chicago headquarters.

This is a genuine divisional leadership role at the heart of a business with serious growth ambition. Acquisitions, new market entries, and significant capital investment across its North American manufacturing and commercial operations are all in play. The finance function is in good shape. The opportunity

Reporting to both the NA CEO and the Group CFO, the VP Finance will be a true business partner to the senior leadership team; shaping financial strategy, driving commercial performance, and representing the finance function at Board and Group level. The North American division spans multiple manufacturing sites and R&D facilities across the US and Canada, and this role carries full accountability across FP&A, financial controls, treasury, tax and capital management.

The person

You are a senior finance leader who has built your reputation in a complex, multi-site manufacturing business in pharma, life sciences, FMCG or a similarly demanding commercial environment, and you are known for more than the numbers. You have earned the trust of demanding business leaders by being genuinely useful to them: commercially sharp, direct, and dependable.

You will be energised by growth, comfortable with ambiguity, and confident enough to challenge and influence at the most senior levels of a global organisation without losing the entrepreneurial spirit that drives this business forward.

Location: Greater Chicago area. Compensation is competitive and reflective of the seniority of the role.
