We are partnering with a high-growth, multi-site manufacturing organization seeking a Vice President Finance to join its leadership team. This role will help scale the finance function by strengthening reporting, improving processes, and driving data-informed decision-making across operations.
The Vice President Finance will partner closely with the CFO and executive team, balancing hands-on accounting leadership with strategic insight. This individual will play a key role in supporting growth, enhancing financial visibility, and building scalable systems in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, mentor, and lead the accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Take full responsibility for the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage cost accounting and inventory functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and tracking of production costs.
- Collaborate closely with operations to evaluate performance, uncover cost drivers, and enhance overall profitability.
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting cycles, along with KPI reporting, to support strategic decision-making and organizational alignment.
- Oversee cash flow and working capital management, maintaining a strong focus on liquidity and financial efficiency.
- Improve financial reporting by developing dashboards and concise reporting packages for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Strengthen internal controls and continuously refine accounting and operational processes.
- Assess and enhance financial systems to ensure scalability, efficiency, and data integrity.
- Support audit processes, tax compliance, lender reporting, and M&A integration activities.
- Proactively identify cost optimization opportunities and implement best practices across the business.
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with a preference for manufacturing environments.
- Deep expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and multi-location operations.
- Previous experience in a Controller or Assistant Controller role is highly desirable.
- Exposure to high-growth organizations or private equity-backed companies is a plus.
Education, Certifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and manufacturing finance principles.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and convert financial data into meaningful business insights.
