Vice President Finance & Accounting

Beech Valley is partnering with a growing residential services platform backed by an experienced private equity sponsor to identify a Vice President of Finance. This executive will serve as a key member of the holding company leadership team, helping build and scale a national residential tree care platform through both organic growth and acquisitions.

The VP of Finance will lead all finance and accounting functions, establish reporting and control processes, support acquisition integrations, and partner closely with the CEO, operating company leadership teams, and Board. This is a unique opportunity to help build a multi-location platform expected to exceed $100M in revenue over the next several years. This role is hybrid and will require periodic travel to Atlanta and operating company locations in the region.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all finance and accounting functions, including general ledger management, consolidations, financial reporting, cash management, tax coordination, audit support, and budgeting
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of historical and projected financial data across the platform
• Develop and deliver timely management reporting, weekly KPI reporting, and monthly operating reviews
• Partner with the CEO, operating company presidents, and Board to analyze business performance and drive decision-making
• Lead financial integration activities for newly acquired companies, including opening balance sheets, reporting structures, and accounting process standardization
• Establish standardized charts of accounts, accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting processes across operating companies
• Manage liquidity, working capital, capital expenditures, and debt compliance requirements
• Partner with lenders and ownership on credit facility reporting and covenant compliance
• Build and develop a high-performing finance and accounting organization as the platform grows
• Review operating company performance against annual operating plans and prior-year results, identifying risks and opportunities
• Train and mentor local accounting and administrative teams to support consistent reporting and financial discipline
• Support operational improvement initiatives including purchasing optimization, pricing strategy, employee benefits, insurance programs, and other value creation efforts

What We’re Looking For

• Progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, ideally within multi-location services businesses
• Strong background in financial reporting, consolidations, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development
• Experience supporting private equity-backed organizations and growth through acquisition strategies
• Demonstrated success integrating acquired businesses and implementing scalable financial processes
• Deep understanding of working capital management, cash flow planning, and financial controls
• Experience managing lender relationships and debt compliance reporting
• Strong business partnership skills with executive leadership teams and operating managers
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a growing environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel periodically to company locations and corporate meetings

Nice to Have

• Experience in home services, field services, facilities services, or other route-based service industries
• Prior experience building finance organizations in a platform or roll-up environment
• Exposure to multi-entity accounting structures and acquisition-driven growth models

Compensation package will be comprised of base salary + bonus + equity
