A leading global investment firm with approximately $370 billion in client assets is seeking to hire a Vice President, External Wholesaler for the Midwest region. The firm specializes in providing creative capital solutions across various strategies, including private and public credit.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary external sales representative for investment solutions across the Midwest region
- Raise capital for investment funds through wirehouse Financial Advisors, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), Independent Broker Dealers, and other intermediary channels
- Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with alternative investment-focused advisors and key centers of influence throughout the territory
- Partner with product specialists, investment professionals, and marketing resources to deliver highly consultative, content-driven sales engagement
- Execute territory business plans designed to drive advisor engagement, increase wallet share, and achieve asset-raising goals
- Coordinate advisor meetings, educational events, conferences, and client presentations throughout the region
- Maintain a high level of expertise regarding investment strategies, private credit markets, alternative investments, and industry trends
- Travel extensively throughout the Midwest territory to support advisor relationships and business development efforts
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor\'s degree
- Minimum 7–9 years of financial industry experience
- Significant experience with alternative investment sales
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Compensation
Salary: $200,000 – $200,000, Plus Bonus
