Overview
We are seeking a hands‑on, strategic, and highly accountable team player to lead our Supply Chain team as Vice President of Distribution. This role reports to the Chief Supply Chain Officer and will own end‑to‑end omni‑channel distribution, scale our fulfillment network, and build best‑in‑class capabilities across e‑commerce, wholesale, and retail.
Responsibilities
- Own distribution strategy and execution across all warehousing and fulfillment operations, ensuring scalable, reliable support for multiple channels.
- Serve as the primary owner of 3PL relationships, traveling to partner facilities to oversee operations and ensure alignment with Bombas standards.
- Lead and govern a network of 3PL partners, including selection, onboarding, contract negotiation, and performance management.
- Ensure day‑to‑day operational compliance at 3PL sites, validating processes, staffing, training, safety, and technology.
- Establish, monitor, and enforce SLAs, KPIs, and operating scorecards for on‑time delivery, inventory accuracy, throughput, labor productivity, safety, and cost efficiency.
- Drive daily execution through on‑site walkthroughs, weekly reviews, escalation management, and quarterly business reviews.
- Act as the senior escalation point for operational breakdowns impacting customer or partner experience.
- Partner closely with logistics leadership to align inbound transportation, outbound shipping, capacity planning, and fulfillment execution.
- Design and evolve the distribution network strategy to support growth, including capacity planning, peak execution, SKU proliferation, and facility decisions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across partner facilities, driving process, system, layout, automation, and labor optimization.
- Own the distribution operating budget, identifying opportunities to improve cost structure while protecting service levels.
- Build, coach, and develop a high‑performing distribution leadership team, recruiting top talent and providing mentorship.

What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of progressive distribution and supply chain leadership experience.
- Experience operating company‑owned distribution centers and managing third‑party logistics providers.
- Proven success leading on‑site warehouse operations, including labor, safety, inventory accuracy, and daily execution.
- Extensive experience governing 3PL partners at scale—selection, negotiation, SLAs/KPIs, and escalation handling.
- Deep, hands‑on knowledge of warehouse and fulfillment operations with the ability to translate experience into standards and accountability.
- Strong understanding of omni‑channel fulfillment complexities.
- Experience with WMS, ERP integrations, and operational reporting.
- Executive‑level leadership experience building, coaching, and scaling high‑performing teams.
- Hands‑on leadership style with willingness to travel up to 50% and evolve operations with automation.
Compensation
The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $220,000 and $260,000/year . The base pay may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and market conditions. The total rewards package may also include annual bonus, equity, and additional benefits.
This is an "at‑will" position. The Company reserves the right to modify any component of the total rewards package.
