This executive will oversee accounting, reporting, and treasury functions across a multi-entity environment and play a critical role in driving financial integrity, scalability, and operational excellence. This is a high-impact leadership role offering visibility to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape financial infrastructure within a dynamic, growth-oriented organization.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all accounting operations including general ledger, AR/AP, and month-end/year-end closeEnsure accurate, timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and statutory accounting standardsLead preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsFinancial Reporting & AnalysisDeliver insights on financial performance, trends, and forecasts to executive leadershipAnalyze results against budgets and provide actionable recommendationsCompliance & ControlsEstablish and maintain strong internal controls and ensure regulatory complianceOversee statutory reporting requirements and coordinate premium tax filingsAudit & GovernanceLead internal and external audit processesEnsure transparency and readiness across all financial reporting activitiesTreasury ManagementOversee cash flow, banking relationships, and investment accountingManage liquidity and optimize treasury operationsSystems & Process ImprovementDrive enhancements in accounting systems, workflows, and reporting capabilitiesIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalabilityQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)CPA strongly preferred10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in leadershipStrong experience within insurance (life and/or health highly preferred)Deep knowledge of US GAAP and statutory accounting principlesKey CompetenciesProven leadership and team-building abilityStrong technical accounting expertiseExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholdersExperience leading systems implementations and process improvements
