Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management - Morris
Join the University of Minnesota Morris (UMN Morris) leadership team as the vice chancellor for enrollment management.
The vice chancellor serves as a strategic leader responsible for advancing the continued vitality of UMN Morris through integrated recruitment, enrollment, and student success strategies. The vice chancellor reports to the UMN Morris chancellor (primary reporting line) and UMN vice president for strategic enrollment management, as part of the enrollment management team across the five UMN campuses. The vice chancellor works collaboratively across the institution to attract, enroll, retain, and graduate students who will thrive in UMN Morris's distinctive academic and community-engaged environment.
In an increasingly competitive and rapidly changing higher education landscape, the vice chancellor provides vision, leadership, and innovation in recruitment, financial aid, and data-informed planning. In collaboration with other campus units, such as marketing and communications, athletics, student life, academic affairs, and others, the vice chancellor champions a student-centered approach that connects enrollment management with academic excellence, access, belonging, student achievement, and institutional sustainability. The vice chancellor will be a member of the University-wide strategic enrollment management team and collaborate with colleagues and offices to develop and implement integrated strategies.
The successful candidate is a strategic, mission-driven leader who can tell the UMN Morris story, build enrollment and student success strategies grounded in data, and mobilize the campus community to advance the strength and vitality of a distinctive public liberal arts and sciences university.

Coming in as a candidate for a position through the executive search process, and having led executive searches in past organizations, my own bar was fairly high. Questions were handled professionally and compassionately. The candidate experience overall was positive and affirming, and I felt I was in good hands throughout.
