Northwell Health Cardiology is seeking a Vice Chair of Cardiology to join their team at Northern Westchester Hospital and Phelps Hospital. This leadership role involves supporting the Chair of Cardiology and overseeing clinical services across both campuses. Practice Info
- Lead clinical services within the Department of Cardiology across two campuses: Northern Westchester Hospital and Phelps Hospital
- Services include inpatient and consultative cardiology, ambulatory cardiology, cardiac imaging (CCTA/CMRI), cardiac rehabilitation, advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology
- Work with partners experienced in all specialty areas of cardiology
- Access to the expertise of the largest health system in the New York Metropolitan area
Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care activities, providing both hospital and ambulatory clinical services
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise within the clinical cardiology team, overseeing hospital-based and ambulatory cardiology services
- Ensure the productivity of physician faculty
- Identify and develop new clinical programs consistent with market opportunity, patient need, and financial feasibility
- Work with the Administration to meet the Hospital, Service Line, and System goals for patient and employee satisfaction
- Ensure the quality of clinical services provided by the Department of Cardiology
Compensation
- Competitive salary
- Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K
