Faithful Friends Animal Society is seeking a full‑time or part‑time veterinarian to join our team in our new modern shelter with a medical wing, surgical suite, and new mobile clinic. The ideal candidate will focus on public and shelter spay/neuter, with the ability to perform life‑saving and specialty surgeries such as mass removals and hernia repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform high‑volume spay and neuter surgeries for cats and dogs.
- Conduct specialty surgeries as needed.
- Communicate with clients clearly and compassionately, discussing surgery results and after‑care instructions.
Requirements
- DVM degree (or equivalent) with a Delaware veterinary license.
- At least 1 year of small animal veterinary experience.
- Proficient in high‑quality spay/neuter procedures for cats and dogs.
- DEA license required.
Additional Skills
- Humane Alliance high‑volume spay/neuter training (plus).
- Fear‑Free program certification (plus).
- Spanish language communication (plus).

Compensation
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, $100.00 to $125.00 per hour.
