About the Role

This specialty animal hospital in Norwalk offers 24/7 emergency services and special care in dermatology and internal medicine. We seek a board‑certified or residency‑trained surgeon to join a collaborative, technology‑rich team dedicated to surgical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Participate in elective and emergency surgical procedures 24/7.

• Collaborate with emergency clinicians and specialists in dermatology and internal medicine to coordinate patient care.

• Utilize advanced imaging (CT, MRI, ultrasound), fluoroscopy, endoscopy, and radiation equipment during procedures.

• Maintain clinical documentation using digital records and participate in case discussions and peer review.

• Provide clinical autonomy while contributing to the growth of the surgical service.

Qualifications

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible through ACVS or ECVS.
• Residency‑trained veterinary surgeon.
• Team‑oriented, communicative, and committed to high‑quality surgical care.
