Veterinary ReceptionistHudspeth Animal Hospital in Macon, GA is looking for a friendly and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice! In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring every pet and their owner feels right at home from the moment they walk through our doors.Responsibilities:Greet clients and their pets warmly, creating a positive and calming front desk experienceSchedule and confirm appointments, managing a busy multi-line phone systemAccurately enter and maintain client and patient records in practice management softwareProcess payments, invoices, and handle cash and credit transactionsCommunicate effectively between clients and veterinary staff regarding appointments, treatments, and follow-up careManage prescription refill requests and coordinate with the veterinary teamMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception areaRequirements:Prior experience requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine love for animalsAbility to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced clinical environmentProficiency with computers and ability to learn veterinary practice management softwareBasic understanding of veterinary terminology is a plusReliable, punctual, and a strong team playerAbility to handle emotional or stressful client situations with empathy and professionalismAbout Us:Hudspeth Animal Hospital has been a trusted name in veterinary care for the Macon, GA community, providing compassionate and high-quality medical services for beloved pets.
