Shifts are typically:Monday: 7:30 AM - 7:00 PMTuesday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PMSaturday: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM (on a rotating basis)Team members receive one full day off during the week and an additional half day off if scheduled for work on Saturday. This structure allows for a great work-life balance while still providing excellent patient care!Key ResponsibilitiesGreet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.QualificationsPrevious experience as a veterinary receptionist is required.Strong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanorAbout New Hope Veterinary HospitalOpened in 2023, New Hope Veterinary Hospital is a brand-new, gorgeous facility designed to provide top-tier veterinary care in a warm and welcoming environment.
