To diagnose diseases and causes of death in companion and laboratory animals, the full-time Clinical Pathologist Licensed in State will examine body tissues, fluids, and hematologic specimens while working remotely. Key responsibilities Describe and interpret cytologic preparations and generate pathology narrative reports Consult with veterinarians regarding diseases detected in sample tissues and fluids Participate in pathology rounds and provide scientific advice to laboratory staff and veterinarians Required qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent Diplomat of American College of Veterinary Pathologists Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the respective state Previous experience in a laboratory environment is a plus Proficiency in using dictation software, such as Dragon, is preferred
