Advanced Veterinary Care is looking to expand its team by adding a Veterinary Oncologist. This role is part of our multidisciplinary specialty practice in Salt Lake City, Utah, where you will contribute to high‑quality patient care and collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, and critical care teams.

About the Practice

Established in 2008 as the first specialty practice in Salt Lake City, AVC is a VECCS Level I Certified facility equipped with MRI, digital radiography, ultrasounds, laparoscopy/endoscopy, an in‑house blood bank, a hyperbaric chamber, fluoroscopy, a surgical laser, and a CE conference room for in‑house training and meetings. Our services include Emergency, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Oncology, and Critical Care. We support continuing education and training for staff and local veterinarians.

Experience & Skills Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
• State Veterinary Board license in good standing for the state in which the candidate intends to be hired, before their start date.
• Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure.
• Board Certified Veterinary Oncologist, or residency‑trained Veterinary Oncologist.
