Responsibilities

• Provide medical diagnosis, treatment planning, and management for small animal internal medicine cases in a 24/7 hospital setting.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, RVTs, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in case discussions, outcomes review, and family communications to support informed decision-making.
• Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the growth of the internal medicine service.

Qualifications

• Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) or equivalent board certification; or practice limited to veterinary small animal internal medicine.
• Experience or demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 hospital environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
