You’ll join an established Internal Medicine team of eight board-certified Internists supported by a seasoned technician team within one of New England’s premier Level 1 emergency and specialty centers.
Located just 11 miles north of Boston, Mass Vet is a 45,000-square-foot state-of-the-art hospital offering Diagnostic Imaging, Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Emergency, and Critical Care seven days per week, with Cardiology, Anesthesia, Ophthalmology, and Oncology also available throughout the week. You’ll work in a truly multidisciplinary environment where collaboration across specialties is part of everyday patient care.
Recent hospital renovations have significantly expanded the resources available to clinicians. You’ll have access to advanced MRI and CT, multiple ultrasound and digital radiology suites, fluoroscopy, a dedicated endoscopy suite with two Olympus video endoscopy towers, nine operating rooms including an interventional radiology suite, three isolation suites, an expanded ICU, and a dedicated dialysis suite.

In your day-to-day, you will:
- Manage complex internal medicine cases spanning GI, hepatobiliary, infectious disease, endocrine, hematologic, and respiratory conditions
- Perform and/or order diagnostics such as ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, and CT
- Coordinate with specialty and emergency teams on shared patients and transfers
- Mentor technicians and assistants as part of daily case management
- Pursuegrowth opportunities in ultrasound proficiency, IR procedures, and electrochemotherapy (ECT) training
What You Bring
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Massachusetts state veterinary licensure.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Board Eligibility following completion of an Internal Medicine residency.
