Veterinary Cardiologist

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Cardiologist for our Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care Center in Largo, FL. Join an advanced practice with board‑certified specialists, state‑of‑the‑art diagnostics, and an emphasis on collaborative, patient‑centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiac care in elective and emergency settings.
• Perform diagnostic imaging, telemetry, ultrasound, and interventional procedures such as stent placement and endoscopy.
• Lead complex patient cases and oversee board, residents, and technicians.
• Collaborate with specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, and Diagnostic Imaging.
• Participate in continuing education, research, and mentorship programs.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent.
• State Veterinary Board license in good standing for the state of employment.
• Active DEA license or DEA‑eligible.
• Board‑certified or residency‑trained specialist in Cardiology.
