In your day-to-day, you will:
- Provide advanced anesthesia care for complex specialty, emergency, surgical, and interventional cases.
- Collaborate closely with specialists in surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, critical care, radiology, medical oncology, neurology, and emergency medicine.
- Support complex procedures utilizing ARISE's advanced diagnostic and interventional capabilities, including CT, MRI, endoscopy, ultrasound, and C-arm fluoroscopy.
- Contribute to the hospital's teaching environment by working alongside residents, interns, and veterinary student externs.
- Partner closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
- Help foster a culture of mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
What You Bring
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology or residency training in Veterinary Anesthesiology.
- Strong clinical skills and an interest in complex anesthesia and perioperative case management.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
