Qualifications Required

  • Hold a DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) and be eligible for veterinary licensure in the relevant state.
  • Hold or be eligible for a DEA license.
  • Be board certified or have completed, or be in the process of completing, a residency in veterinary anesthesia accredited by the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ACVAA) or the European College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA).
