Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital, a specialty and emergency referral facility with locations in Akron and Highland Heights, Ohio, is recruiting a Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join our team and help build our Anesthesia Department.
Responsibilities
- Work with a progressive and experienced group of doctors who value high‑quality medicine.
- Collaborate with nursing staff that provides exceptional patient care, including several VTS.
- Partner with specialists in Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Exotics, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, and Ophthalmology.
- Support our team based on compassion, communication, and teamwork.
- Help build the Anesthesia service and practice medicine with unlimited resources and support.

Facility Highlights
- Spacious 24,000 sq. ft. facility equipped with a state‑of‑the‑art ICU, 2 digital radiography units, ultrasound, CT, MRI, laparoscopy, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, telemetry, and a complete in‑house laboratory.
- Highland Heights location: 30,000 sq. ft. facility with a state‑of‑the‑art ICU, private isolation suites, 2 digital radiography units, ultrasound, CT, MRI, laparoscopy, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, mechanical ventilation, telemetry, and a complete in‑house laboratory.
