To provide compassionate end-of-life care, the part-time Ohio Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will deliver in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services while maintaining professional autonomy and flexibility in scheduling across Toledo, Sylvania, and Perrysburg, Ohio. Key responsibilities Provide in-home pet hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and compassionate euthanasia services Travel independently to scheduled appointments and practice effectively in a mobile veterinary care environment Educate pet families on quality-of-life decisions and maintain accurate veterinary medical records Required qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), BVMS, or equivalent veterinary medical degree Active veterinary license in the state(s) where services will be provided Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments Ability to communicate with empathy during sensitive end-of-life conversations Availability for rotational weekend scheduling as required
