The Role

  • Full-time small-animal general practice with a preventive-care focus
  • Perform wellness exams, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and manage follow-up care
  • Conduct routine surgeries (including spay/neuter and common soft-tissue procedures) with appropriate anesthesia and pain management
  • Provide dental care with dental radiography and perform dental procedures
  • Utilize in-house lab testing, digital radiography, and ultrasound support for efficient case workups
  • Communicate clearly with clients, guide discharge instructions, and document medical records with accuracy
  • Collaborate closely with technicians and support staff to ensure efficient daily workflows, including drop-off cases
  • Participate in a rotating schedule that may include some weekend hours

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • License to practice in Utah, or eligibility to obtain a Utah veterinary license
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong clinical communication and teamwork skills; comfort with routine surgery and dentistry preferred
  • New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply
