Candidate Profile
Must Have:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
- Texas veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Current DEA license, or ability to obtain one
- USDA Category I accreditation, or willingness to complete accreditation within the required timeframe
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfortable with anesthesia and routine small animal surgery
- Professional, compassionate approach to clients, patients, and colleagues
