The Role

• Deliver high-quality small-animal care across wellness, internal medicine, urgent/sick visits, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgery
• Utilize in-house lab, digital radiography, ultrasound, and digital dental imaging to guide same-day decisions
• Perform dentistry, including prophylaxis and indicated extractions
• Create and communicate treatment plans; build long-term client relationships through clear education
• Practice low-stress, feline-friendly handling to support patient comfort
• Collaborate with skilled technicians and client-service staff; contribute to a positive, supportive culture
• Maintain thorough medical records and adhere to anesthetic and peri-operative protocols
• Participate in a rotating Saturday schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
• License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to obtain)
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Strong communication skills and a client-centered approach
• Comfort with dentistry and general surgery, or motivation to grow with mentorship
