The Practice
Established small animal hospital serving the local community for over 80 years
Approximately 95% dogs and cats with a small percentage of exotic animal cases
Average of 16–20 appointments per veterinarian per day
Excellent 3.5:1 technician-to-doctor support ratio, including credentialed veterinary technicians
Modern equipment including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy and comprehensive in-house laboratory
Strong focus on preventative medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery and behavioural medicine
Active supporter of local animal rescue organisations
Friendly, collaborative culture with many long-serving team members
The Role
Full-time Associate Veterinarian position with a varied small animal caseload:
Wellness and preventative medicine
Medical consultations and diagnostics
Internal medicine
Soft tissue surgery (optional)
Dentistry (optional)
Behavioural medicine
Client education and preventative healthcare
Collaborative case management within a supportive clinical team
Opportunity to see exotic animals if desired

Requirements
DVM / VMD (or equivalent)
Eligible to work in the US
Passion for high-quality small animal medicine
Strong communication and teamwork skills
DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited university
NAVLE certification
ECFVG or PAVE (if graduated from a non-AVMA accredited program)
DEA, State, and USDA licences (or ability to obtain upon hire)
