We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian Medical Director to provide high-quality small-animal veterinary care while supporting clinical leadership, team development, and practice growth. This role is ideal for a veterinarian interested in combining hands‑on medicine with mentorship and medical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality small-animal veterinary care
• Establish and improve medical standards, protocols, and procedures
• Mentor and support veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
• Serve as a clinical resource for the veterinary team
• Collaborate with management on practice growth and development
• Evaluate new equipment, services, and medical initiatives
• Promote teamwork, accountability, learning, and continuous improvement
• Help shape the medical direction and development of the practice

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
• 5+ years of veterinary experience
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Active Maryland veterinary license or eligibility
• Active DEA license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Leadership And Mentorship Experience Preferred

• Strong interest in clinical excellence, collaboration, and practice development
