Veterinarian

Morristown Animal Hospital is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to our team.

We are a full‑service AAHA accredited veterinary medical facility that provides the highest standard of medical and surgical care to pets and clients.

Location: Morristown, NJ.

Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 base salary (depending on experience) plus production.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically.
• Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem and communicate with referring veterinarians.
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field.
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in preventive pet care.
• Perform dental procedures.
• Contribute to a workplace culture that is enjoyable for staff, clients, and pets.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a veterinary hospital setting is preferred.
• Internship training is also preferred but not required.
• Strong surgical skills.
• Eligibility for New Jersey Veterinary Licensure.
