Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year base salary with production bonus paid each pay period
Job Description
Small animal practice is seeking a veterinarian to join our team. Our hospital sees dogs, cats and exotic species (seeing exotics is optional). Willing to train and mentor a new graduate. Position is available for immediate hire.
Experience
- Graduated from an accredited veterinary medical school
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Oregon
- Strong knowledge of animal pathophysiology, anatomy and disease processes, veterinary terminology, and laboratory procedures
- Experience in animal restraint, handling, and care
- Excellent communication skills with both pet owners and fellow staff members

Schedule
- 10 hour shifts, 4 days a week for full time work
- Day shift only
- Clinic is open Monday through Friday
- No weekends or overnight duties

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat various illnesses and injuries in animals
- Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as needed
- Conduct physical examinations and administer vaccinations
- Provide preventative care, including dental cleanings and parasite control
- Educate pet owners on proper nutrition, behavior, and overall pet care
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care for animals
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patient
