Position Overview
A well-established feline-only private veterinary practice in East Marietta is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its growing clinical team.
The practice provides dedicated veterinary care for feline patients and has established a strong relationship with its client community. Continued investment in facilities, equipment, and clinical services provides the veterinary team with access to modern diagnostic and treatment capabilities.
The hospital operates with a collaborative team structure, bringing together Veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) to support efficient patient care.
The Role
The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive veterinary team providing comprehensive medical, surgical, dental, and preventative care to feline patients.
Responsibilities
- Performing routine and complex medical examinations and consultations.
- Developing diagnostic and treatment plans appropriate to individual patients.
- Performing a variety of medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
- Utilizing available diagnostic equipment, including digital radiography, advanced ultrasound, and endoscopy.
- Monitoring patient progress and adapting treatment plans when required.
- Providing clear and informative communication to pet owners.
- Discussing preventative healthcare, treatment options, and ongoing management of chronic conditions.
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Working closely with LVTs and other members of the veterinary team.
- Contributing to a professional, respectful, and efficient working environment.

Qualifications
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- An active Georgia veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain Georgia licensure.
- Successful completion of the NAVLE.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Good clinical and diagnostic decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills and a professional approach to client care.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of veterinary medicine and patient welfare.
Previous feline-only practice experience is welcomed. Candidates with broader small animal experience and a strong interest in feline medicine are also encouraged to apply.
