Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of veterinary clinic experience preferred.
- Current, active Colorado veterinary license with no pending disciplinary actions.
- Current, active DEA license.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative veterinary team environment.
- Proficiency with computers and common software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn and effectively use veterinary practice management and electronic medical record systems.
- Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to remain professional and effective in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Working Conditions
- Veterinary clinic environment requiring frequent standing, crouching, bending, and movement.
- Potential exposure to noise, zoonotic diseases, animal bites, and scratches.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work safely and effectively around animals and veterinary equipment.
