The Hospital

The Role

• Full-time Veterinarian delivering high-quality, preventive-first care with a strong focus on client education
• Provide wellness and sick patient services, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgeries
• Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and practice leadership to drive medical standards and exceptional client service
• Interpret diagnostics (in-house lab, digital and dental radiography) and formulate treatment plans efficiently
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive culture; mentor support staff and help refine hospital protocols
• Comfortable schedule built around standard daytime hours with shared weekend rotations
• See dogs and cats; interest in small exotic pets is welcome

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited program
• Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Strong communication skills and commitment to preventive care, dentistry, and routine surgery
• Willingness to participate in shared weekend coverage; experience with small exotics is a plus
