This is a busy small animal practice located in Key West, Fl. Job responsibilities include routine annual appointments, urgent care, surgeries, and emergencies during the day. This is a newer facility with a full Idexx in-house laboratory, digital radiology, dental radiographs, ultrasound, and full surgery suite. This practice performs dental procedures as well as general surgeries. We are also the official veterinarian of the Hemingway home felines! Bonus fee! Florida Keys Veterinary Medical Association membership paid and AVMA membership paid. Scheduling is flexible as well as 3 week paid vacation provided plus paid holidays. No on‑call requirements. Health Care benefit package as well as full dental and vision insurance offered for full time employees. 401K retirement benefits are offered as well. Business is open Monday through Friday 8-5pm and Saturday 8-2pm so weekends will be rotated. Paradise awaits!
Veterinarian is expected to have client skills as well as interacting with staff professionally. A DVM degree is required and a Florida veterinary license. An experienced veterinarian of at least 2 years is wanted, but open to new graduates as well.
